| I had bought these shoes as a Christmas gift for my younger sister. However, we wear the same size shoes and I may have stolen them a couple times from her. The toe area did feel a little bigger than I expected, but I also wear very thin socks, which could probably take blame for the fit. The padded heel area is extremely comfortable and makes breaking in the shoes quite painless! This is the second pair of Vans I have purchased from Zappos.com and I can easily say that their products and their service is top notch! I received my order within 3 days, and there wasn't even a scratch on the box! I love Zappos.com! | |

| I have a teenaged boy that loves to stand out a bit. It seems the most Off the Wall colored Vans are cool right now. He gets compliments on them all the time. Loves them! Love doing business with Zappos. Friendly and great on the customer service end. If they were a store in my neighborhood I would be there all the time. One thing about ERA's shoes. All my boys wear Vans and they always seem to run small. I ordered a 10 1/2 for my son who is a 10 and ended up exchanging them for the 10's. They seem for us to be true to size. | |

| Well this is my second pair. They definitely look good but they hurt! As least for a few weeks until you break them in. I had the same problem with my first pair. The upper tongue part is really hard and it literally crushes my foot each time I step. Just gotta deal with the pain until they break in and then they are great. Also, vans wear and tear quickly, the side rubber comes loose. Last one lasted me about 10 months when used about every other day or so. | |

| Anew ERA for me - These are a cool shoe. I selected the gray suede shoe which is perfect with jeans. I saw others felt this shoe ran a bit small, so I ordered one half size larger than usual, and they fit perfectly. They look especially fine with black jeans and are really comfortable. I am going to order another pair with the next paycheck. I wear them every day! | |

| Vans's Eraâ„¢ Sude Black/Gray - Vans ERA is a great shoe. The look, comfort, and style deserve a flat out 5 star rating. The ERA series are not so different from the Authentic series, only in color and the stitching that runs across the shoe in the ERA shoes. Also, the ERA shoes have thicker material than Authentic and a cushion like material for arch support. | |

| My son liked these shoes at a local shoe shop. They didn't have his size. I used to drive around looking for the shoes, but now I can go straight to Zappos.com find the exact shoes we were looking for, or even a better color or style. | This shoe fit my 15 year old daughter well. We bought 4 styles and sent back 3, due to poor fit. As some of you may know, Vans do not have consistent sizing, which is why Zappos' variety and great return policy works well with this brand. | |

| In my honest opinion, these shoes are terrible. First of all, props where props are due, they look great, but there is very little padding so it has very little support and my feet kept sliding around inside them a little, even though they were the right size. The worst thing by far was that when I went out with these shoes, one of the shoes dug a huge blister right in the back of my heel that hurt so much and made every step agonizing. I don't know what I'm going to do about this very painful blister. | |

| This was a good shoe with a good fit, however it only survived my son\'s skateboarding for about 3 weeks. If you\'re buying it for looks and average wear, it should be fine. Not the best skate shoe. | |
