The North Face Arctic Pull-On Boot

Anonymous at Backcountry.com on 01/06/2009

This is my second pair of this boot. I loved the first pair so much, but I was sad to find to that the North Face store was no longer carrying them. This is where this site came in, though it was hard to find the right size it was cool to have a place that had many of the boots that no longer exist else where. This boot is so great because its style lets one wear on wet casual days in the city and also are strong enough to handle snow hiking though any conditions. The design is also great because it allows a grove in the back for ice cramps or snow shoes.

The boots look good, fit well, comfortable and functional. They’re quality boots and a good value for the money.

Awsome Boots!

These are extremely comfortable and warm. I haven't had a chance to check the water proofing, but North Face has never let me down. If you're thinking of buying a pair, you won't regret it.

looks good

The boot looked good, but it isn't wide enough for me and I think it should be a little higher. If you run into some slush, that boot is getting flooded.

Warm, Convenient, Rub wrong.

Very nice boot. Used to get from hose to car to class. Easy and quick to take off to change into inside shoes. Great shoe. However, they are stiff. If I wear these with short socks (warm enough to), the top of the boot rubs my skin raw. Because they are short, pants that are tucked into them come out, allowing the rubbing to occur. Still a great boot, just need to remember to wear tall socks.

Warm Boots

Very warm. I really like them. The only recommendation is that you wear socks that are tall enough that the boot tops won't rub against your leg.

Nice and Convenient

These are very easy to put on so I end up using them a lot more than I would a lace up winter boot. They are stylish too and I found that I preferred them over any other shoe I had this winter. I found myself searching for puddles and such when I had them on.

good boots not very high

good boots!! they don't come up very high on your leg though.... perfect for walking the dog in fresh snow!

sweeet boots

Very comfortable, and they slide on easily.

Warm, Dry, Comfortable!

Nice winter boot for wet, sloppy cold conditions. I use them as after ski/snowboard wear, playing in the snow with my dog and kids, etc. Easy on and off is what made me pick 'em. I've got a lace-up winter boot but it's just such a drag lacing them on and off when going in and out of the house. Like most TNF stuff they're made well and get the job done.
