| I was very hesitant to spend this kind of money in a sandal, but I have had good luck with Ecco shoes. When the shoes arrived, it was immediately apparent that they were very high quality. I initially thought that they ran big and I nearly returned them because my achilles gets irritated easily. I\'m glad I decided to give them a shot. Although the back strap does slide, the cushion on the top of the strap has worked wonders. I have had them for several weeks now and have taken numerous long walks without any irritation. The cork footbed is very comfortable. The footbed is lined with a suede-like material. My only complaint is that they can get to be very hot when walking on blacktop--more so than other summer shoes I have. | |

| Best sandal I've ever worn! I'm not usually accustomed to paying this much for sandals, but they are worth it. I've had them for over two weeks and have worn them almost every day, most days walking over a mile. So far the outsole, which is very lightweight and soft like most Ecco shoes, shows NO sign of wear. This is the closest I have ever felt to "floating" in shoes and they are REALLY shock-resistant unlike some other shoes, which merely pretend to be. The footbed is very easy on my feet, too, and seems to absorb moisture very well. I ordered my size and they are just fine. And as always, Zappos' customer service was great and the delivery fast. | |

| The Fisherman Sandals are undoubtedly the most comfortable sandals I've had the privilege to wear in years. They were perfect right out of the box, and I've been wearing them pretty much constantly since I received them three weeks ago. I've even been wearing them to work. They are strong, supportive and airy, and look like they will still be among my favorites years from now. | |

| Almost perfect - I've worn Ecco shoes for 20+ years so I'm a fan. The first pair I received, my exact size, was a half size large. The smaller replacement half is a terrific sandal. Comfortable, stylish, closed toe. My only complaint is that they can be tightened only so much. Perhaps the Velcro isn't long enough or just misplaced on the strap. | |

| I normally wear size 14, but these 14s were too long and wide for me. There's not much adjustment in the velcro strap; it just holds the sandals closed. The arch support also isn't quite as comfortable as my old Ecco sandals. I still recommend Ecco sandals and will buy them in the future, but this pair wasn't quite right for me. | |

| This sandal has first-rate, quality workmanship and materials. It simply could not be better. That's the good news. Now, for the other news: The sandal needs another half inch length on the hook & loop closure; that is, on the sandal itself. There's not enough length to allow the strap to be pulled for a tighter fit. | |

| Got the Guy Wearin' Sandals! Bought these for my husband, who loved his Ecco boots. He has found these extremely comfortable, great support, and great for extensive walking. He has a very high instep and these fit perfectly. If you don't like anything touching the tip of your toe, go to the next size up. | |

| The Most comfortable Sandal - This is the most comfortable sandal I have ever owned. Ecco has truly outdone themselves with this shoe. If comfort is important to you, you can not find a better shoe. I liked this shoe so much I bought a second pair. | |

| These sandals are incredibly cofortable right out of the box. They have the feel of running shoes as far as the heel cushioning. The quality surpasses the price as does the styling. I love these shoes! Zappos has a lifelong customer in me. | |
