a good orthopedic and stylish shoe

| I'm a physical therapist with leg length discrepancy, foot deformity and fused ankle. I am able to fit my foot orthosis and lift inside this shoe very easily. The design of the sole on this shoe (with a "rocker bottom") helps promote an easier transition from "stance" to "push off" in the gait cycle, thereby reducing foot and ankle strain. I like these also because I can wear them for everyday wear and they are professional looking, particularly after I cut the leather "pull tab" off in the back because they looked too rugged with it on. Without the "pull tab" they have an even cleaner, simple style. | |

| I wear these as casual shoes around town and walking my dogs. They are very comfortable. I had to return them for a full size smaller as they seem to run large. They come with 2 insoles and I took one of them out for the best fit. | |
Has a look of an older woman's shoe.

| I was searching for a butter soft leather lace up ankle boot & that is exactly what I found in this boot. What turned me off about this boot was the overly rounded toe. I am 40 and I felt this shoe looked too old for me. | |

Cute boot, but not right for me

| I love the look of this boot, and tried it in regular and wide widths, but neither worked for me. In both widths, the left boot hurt my foot, while the right boot felt fairly comfortable. I also ordered a full size smaller than my regular size, since a previous order of a different Drew boot proved that they run very large. The regular width felt to be the right length in one size smaller than my normal size, while the wide width felt to be a little longer that the first pair. The boots are quite stiff, and while I believe they could soften up over time, they are too difficult for me to wear for even a little while around the house. I also tried three different thickness of socks ... and still they are not going to work. My orthotics inserts fit fine without the two Drew insoles. | |
