| I love these boots! I bought one pair in the bronze color, and then quickly got another in black as they are so comfortable. With the rubber sole, you can walk for hours and they look great with skirts and under trousers. For a flat boot made from a flexible material, they offer a surprising amount of support. I bought my normal size and can wear stockings or thin socks with them. If you wish to wear a heavier tight or sock, you might want to go up ½ a size. | |

| Great stretch boot for big calves - I'm very picky with my shoes, they need to be stylish and COMFORTABLE..... I love this boot! The stretch suede really stretches yet it stays up on your leg and still looks like suede. How did they do that? Unlike the first reviewer I found it ran a little small. I'm usually most comfortable in a size 40 which equals around a US 8 1/2. Yet the size 9 felt a little short on my foot. | |

| Donald Pliner boots - The boots were great, except that the black distressed that I bought gives the appearance of the fabric rubbing away where the boot creases. In other words, when the boot slides somewhat down and puddles, that's fine and normal, but the crease stays to the point that it looks as if the fabric is worn away. My friend has the same boot in the suede and she did not experience this, like I did with the distressed version. | |

| Donald J Pliner Doris Boot - Beautiful boot! I got this boot in expresso suede metallic, and would love to have it in the other colors too! It runs a little big, so you might want to order ½ size smaller than what you usually wear. Very comfortable, and looks good with everything! | |

| Great Looking Boot That Runs Large - I really like this boot but it runs really LARGE. I'm always an 8 in Donald Pliner shoes and the 8 is huge on me. It is one of the few stretch boots that has adequate room in the calf. | |

| Great looking, not that comfy - I am still searching for a black, low-heeled stretch boot. This is not the one. It is a beautiful boot - the distressed leather has a great look to it and the detailing down the back, but the footbed is very hard without much give and the top of the shoe presses into my foot as I walk. I have a pair of Paul Green stretch boots in brown that are fantastic to walk in - I am still looking for something like them in black. | |
