| I liked the feel of this boot the minute I put it on. I don't like a big clunky hiking boot but still like the support and water proofing and this boot fit the bill. It seems to be scaled to a woman's foot which is always a problem for me if I buy men's sizes. It fits my foot but still allows room for my toes which tend to need to spread out. It may be a little slimmer through the instep but I need that quality. I have put it to good use in our national parks and some other hiking. | |

| I'm not an avid hiker by any means. That said, I have been doing it on occasion and decided to trade in the sneakers for something that was more supportive (I tend to be a clutz and my ankles need all the help they can get!). The first hike I completed in them was surprising. They were very comfortable! It was, however, a steep hike and coming down put a lot of pressure on one of my toes (got a little scrunched) but it was by no means a bad situation. I would highly recommend these comfortable and great looking boots! | |

| I returned my pair as they were a little snug. My foot is narrow so that tells you they are quite narrow by style. The length seemed barely okay but no wiggle room. If you like the feeling of having your foot padded all around then you will like these. I don't care for that feel. They seemed very durable; I only tested them twice on walks so I can't comment on other features but I love the Columbia product and would recommend this shoe if you like your feet to feel cushioned top and bottom. | |

| I found these boots to be just what I wanted. My husband and I went to Alaska, Vancouver, and Seattle for a month. From the time I put the boots on they were extremely comfortable. I didn't give them a test through water. Size was true for me also. I definitely would recommend them and can't wait to give them another workout when we hike the Adirondacks with my family. | |

| I have flagstone paths at home. I can barely get to my car is there is an residual moisture any where on the path. I will be returning these to Columbia for their review. Other boots, i.e. Vibram soled, don't slip on the same path. These are almost like walking on wet ice. Remarkably bad, dangerous. I can't risk wearing them the day or two after rain or snow melt. Also, I thought I left this review once before. Could a negative review have been deleted? I hope not because I like reviews and want to trust them. | |
