| These shoes are stylish and comfortable. You can wear them all day, which I did. I'm on my feet a lot so it is good for extended standing. However it offers no arch support.I would recommend them for dress pants that is ankle or even a skirt give it a little boho twist. | |

| I used to wear these years ago in college, and always loved them. I am thrilled to have a new pair and the price is unreal! These shoes are classic, comfortable, and fit well. They are also durable, great around campus and for weekend errands. | |

| My above star ratings are for a pair that fits propely. I have been wearing women's Desert Treks (beeswax) for 20+ years. Clarks must be using new lasts because the pair I just received is w-a-y too narrow. The inside of the pair I am returning looks different than my current pair, purchased almost 2 years ago, making me think they are being made somewhere outside the U.K. now. Actualy, there is now some arch support whereas there was none in the past. This addition of arch support does take up room, a real arch-cruncher (for someone with a high arch). Order a men's size if you have a full or wide medium width foot instead of a womans in a 1/2 size larger--the mens Desert Trek look the same, are no higher, just cut a bit wider. I'm hard on shoes and these soles wear especially well. | |

| These are classics- they're comfortable and stylish. Walked around SF (baseball game and a park) a lot on the 2nd day I'd worn them- with zero pain. Only thing is that if I was walking anywhere with say..cobblestone streets, etc..I'm sure it wouldn't be too comfortable -since you can feel the bumps thru the sole..so -stay on the smooth floors and pavement and you'll be good. Overall- worth the $ and flexible to wear with jeans or kahki's . - | |

| I very rarely wear closed-heel shoes, but as soon as I put these on I knew I'd be able to wear them all day. They are roomy and as comfortable as slippers. Also very quiet - no one can hear me! |
