| When I started looking for hiking socks, I searched hiking forums and this sock was mentioned several times. I'm glad I took the advice of others. The sock felt great and kept my feet cool. | Because I liked the Bridgedale Trekker socks so much I decided to get some lighter weight socks for the summer these do the trick. They feel great and I appreciate the support in all key areas, made possible by the left/right specificity of each sock. Now that the warm weather is here I am very grateful to have cushioned socks that are lightweight enough to wear all summer long. | |

| These are the best socks that I have worn since those issued to me in the USMC 1952. They offer an excellent cushioning feel and they hug the entire foot. No slipping or wadding up in the shoe. Very comfortable and not hot to wear. Don't know yet about durability however they did not shrink after washing and drying in a clothes drier. | |

| I wore these socks hiking in the Northern Wisconsin area in October. It was pretty much wet all day - however the socks kept me dry. That was a test hike for this year big hike in the Sierras. I definitely bring 3 pairs so I can swap a pair during lunch time - to keep my feet free from blisters. | |

| This is a great sock for exercising in the spring and fall. The cushioning is suburb. Its length is just long enough enough for to wear with shorts or with long pants. Also the sock is light enough at the top to keep you warm but not get too hot.. | |

| Great combination of vents and padding. They are super soft and stay that way. The padding is positioned according to bone and joint locations on the foot. They come in right and left. Perfect for spring and summer backpacking. Great Socks! | |

| Wore these recently trekking in Kauai and could not be more happy. Paired well with goretex Merrell midheight boots -- a nice waterproof, breatheable combo. Nice padding and dries quickly. Don't know yet about durability. | |

| I am a huge fan of Bridgedale socks,they are what I wear backpacking, hiking,everyday. The one and only problem I have with the Ventum Light Hikers is it doesn't stay in place like all my other Bridgedale socks. They slip down and "shifted" during my hike. I won't give up on Bridgedale, but I won't recommend these to my friends. | |

| Although these socks are described and pictured as "crew-length", they are in fact 2 to 3 inches shorter than any other crew socks available. I decided to keep them because I could wear them with hiking shoes, and they are well made. | |
