You know that happy feeling when you put on that pair of shoes you've admired for the first time and they feel just right, like they've been waiting for you, too? OK, so maybe I'm getting a little anthropomorphic but these shoes feel just right. They won't need any breaking in, as they have a padded footbed. I was concerned that the strap would rub/chafe my ankle but they are completely comfortable. They look adorable, a nice variation on a maryjane.

Classy and comfy.

After exchanging these shoes for another pair 1/2 size smaller, I'm very happy with the purchase. They felt a little narrow at first, but stretched out as the day went on. Love the look and feel of these shoes. My only complaint is that the ankle strap buckle is small and cramped to buckle on and off and a bit too old school. An updated, more modern buckle would be a major bonus. Otherwise, very happy.

Love everything about them!

So comfortable. The footbed is nicely padded. The sole is stylish, yet has a good, slip resistant tread. These will be good with capris or skinny jeans. I think they'll hold up for a long time and they look good, yet I can go for long walks in them, such as sight seeing on vacation. Don't miss out on these. I can't understand why the style was discontinued. At last, comfort and fashion!

Nice, and wide enough for me!

Borns are "M/W" - probably really about a C width. I need to stretch mine a teeny bit because I am a D, but on the whole they are very nice, very comfy, and will help a lot on concrete trade show floors for hours of standing. They will accept my orthotics too. They have a germicidal lining - nice, but not a huge deal; I keep cedar shoe trees in them anyway.

My favorite shoes!

I am a 'shoe nut' and these are THE most comfortable shoes I've ever owned! I'm a teacher, so am on my feet a lot but these come through for me every day. The extra padding is great, and the ankle strap makes the shoes versatile - they work with everything from jeans to skirts! I just wish you had them in more colors, and still had my size in stock!

Adorably Cute!

This is such a cute and versatile shoe, I really wish it worked for me. Unfortunately, I must send it back. It feels very comfortable until I walk, then I notice I need more instep support and even though it is roomy enough in the toebox, my big toe slams into the leather front of the shoe. Just not the shoe for my foot.

good fit as usual

Born shoes are about the only ones that fit my very wide toe box without pinching, and these are no exception. I snapped these up immediately, because I thought they'd be cute with fall skirts. What do you know -- they look great with pants, too. I really like the fact that the soles are good for city walking without looking too clunky.

Stylish Comfort and Support

I wear these shoes regularly for work and feel comfortable and happy in them all day. Other than a bit snug in size, they fit well and were comfortable almost from the start. The buckle is a bit "old school" and takes more time to get on in the morning. Good quality, style and comfort are combined well in these shoes.

Another wonderful Born shoe!

I am just about to complete my teaching degree. I am on the go a lot and will student teach starting in January. I have always liked shoes made by Born and these shoes are no exception. I really like them. The dark brown color is great and they are very comfortable. I look forward to wearing them often.

Made for Comfort

This shoe is wide enough in the last to accommodate my needs. However, with the ankle strap, it looks nice enough to wear with skirts and pants. Comfort and style in one shoe. It is a bit wide for my narrow heel but that can be corrected with a heel pad.

Not True to Size

Beautiful soft shoe. However it is at least two sizes smaller that the advertised size. It has a thick padding that causes the shoe to feel cramped. Make sure to order at least one size larger than your regular size. Great quality in terms of the leather and style

Style sacrifices comfort

I had hoped to find a shoe that could be both stylish and comfortable and normally, that is what I would find in a Born shoe. Unfortunately, the cute little ankle strap is stiff and can cut into the back of your heel if worn for anything but casual use. Walking around town or on your feet at work? This isn't the shoe...
