Ariat Fatbaby

Well, I hated these boots at first because they completely tore up my feet with blisters. They tend to run on the small side. My mom has about 5 pairs of Fatbaby's and she swears by them. Now that they are broke in, however, they are not so bad. I wear them all the time. They are durable and keep my feet warm in the winter. Other Ariat Fatbaby's I can wear a 9 1/2; these I had to go to a 10. Because of the reinforcement on the top they tend to be on the tight side. Personally, I think I will buy them used next time because breaking them in was murder. Mainly the problem was on the back of my heels. They are reinforced, but the stitching sliced right into my heels. I have a lot of scars now. Ha!

First off, Zappos is awesome! Great service! I have worn Ariats my whole life, but always the English style paddock boots but wanted to try these and they are great! I noticed a lot of people said go a 1/2 size down, but I went with my usual size 6. They are definitely roomier than I was used to but I have fairly wide feet and the fit seems good. If you have narrower feet, then the 1/2 size down may apply to you, but since mine are a bit wide and I usually wear thick socks I think going down would have been too snug. They really are fantastic though; I'll definitely be ordering some different styles.

These are great boots. I got the bomber brown and they fit with everything. I am not into cowboy/riding boots, but these are very stylish and can be worn with pants or skirt, pants tucked in or out. The style with its relatively wide toe box accommodates my toes that go numb in most other shoes. I sized up to 11 in order to have even more room although I am probably more a 10.5. The insole is very soft and helps to take away stress on my feet. Overall I highly recommend these boots.

This Fatbaby saddle boot is great: comfortable and cute. If you have narrower feet, get this saddle style because it hugs your instep better than the plain style. This is a riding boot, but I use it as a shoe, and it is great for walking around, especially if you do not want to wear a gym shoe. Also, received tons of compliments when I first wore them. Know that there is a little slip in the heel. Also get a good pair of boot socks so they don't slip down. Enjoy!

Super fast shipping from Zappos. Awesome, great boots, nice arch support. I found the boots to fit true to normal shoe size; if you are going to wear thick, thick socks, I would go 1/2 size bigger. As soon as I got them I put them on and walked around the house. The heel was a little snug and I was worried, but within 5 minutes, if felt comfortable. Didn't really need any break in time. Super comfortable. Nice boots, very glad I got them.

Love these boots! Rustic comfort with a feminine edge! Very comfortable right from the box to da feet! Would recommend this boot for anyone who wants a versatile boot with a worn (kind of like your favorite jeans) yet hip appeal. Cute with skirts, jeans; have gotten several compliments. I fell in love with Ariat products back in my riding days. True to form, these boots are great! They are comfy and durable. Size wise, they are true to size. They take a bit of wearing to break in the leather on the upper portion of the boot. However, if you are looking for a stylish rugged boot, these are it!
